Try these steps for the issue "Gmail Sync is currently Experiencing Problems"

Generally try the option 1 and if issue still persists then try option 2 to manually sync up your Gmail account.

Option1:

  • Open your device's Settings app
  • Tap on Accounts and then Google.
  • Tap the account that you want to sync.
  • Tap More and then Sync now.

Option 2:

  • Open your device's Settings app & tap Date & time.
  • Switch off Automatic date & time.
  • Manually change the date and time so that they are both wrong.
  • Now Tap Home
  • Open your device's Settings app Date & time again.
  • Manually change the date and time again to make it wrong.
  • Switch on Automatic date & time.
